Our 2018 Burgundian style California Grateful Chardonnay is 100% estate grown in our Grateful Lane Vineyards. The unique combination of cooler climate, rich soil, and Pacific Ocean breezes coupled with oak barrel fermenting gives this delicious Chardonnay a warm, creamy texture combined with vibrant and lively fruit notes.

Meet our Winemaker


Born and raised in Studio City, California, Paul originally majored in biology to become a doctor, until he found his true passion in the fermentation science department at University of California, Davis “winemaking.” Paul has lived his passion since graduating Davis. As winemaker for TREFETHEN FAMILY VINEYARDS — Napa, CA he oversaw winery operations for 1,100 ton estate winery producing 65,000 cases as well as 10,000 cases of custom crush production. As Winemaker  for FOLEY FAMILY WINES  including Firestone Vineyards, Proximity 26, EOS Estate, Fog Theory, and Gretzky Wines, Paul  was responsible for all aspects of winemaking from vineyard to bottle for a 1,800 ton estate winery producing 100,000 cases. At Grateful Lane Vineyards, we are most grateful to have Paul onboard to direct our vineyard operations and be our viticultural and wine making consultant.
